He saves the best wine till last,
Oh brother don't you see,
Jesus was heaven sent,
A Savior to rescue me.

I was mired down in the pits of sin
Never to rise and then
A nail scared hand of love reached down,
Made my heart smile again.
They nailed Him to a bloody cross,
He hung between two thieves,
One was cursing and mocking HIm,
The other said, remember me.
You'll be with me in paradise,
This promise I leave with you,
Then He said, Father forgive them,
For they know not what they do.

They put Him in borrowed grave,
Laid love on a cold hard stone,
His friends went away to hide and grieve,
Their master had left them all alone.
The soldiers guarded the grave by night,
By dawn the stone was rolled away,
Why look for the living among the dead,
Don't you know it's resurrection day?
Mary went to the garden looking,
For the body of her King,
Then she heard Him,
Softly calling out her name.
