THE HOUSE OF PRAYER

You are called to come to the house of prayer,
A blessing awaits as you enter there,
Wounded spirits, their heart can bare,
When they kneel at the altar of the house of prayer.

The house of prayer is always near,
The Father and I await you there,
The blood of the Son washes your sin,
And the Father says Son, come home again.

Come home, come home to the house of prayer,
It is a place of peace that holds no fear,
Your past will fade, without a fear,
When you kneel at the altar of the house of prayer.

Come home, come home, to the house of prayer,
Love and forgiveness await you there,
In arms of love, Jesus holds you near,
When you kneel at the altar of the house of prayer.

You are called to come to the house of prayer,
You are so welcome as you enter there,
Troubled spirits, there's healing here,
When you kneel at the altar of the house of prayer.

May you rest in His peace God Bless, Linda

LET YOUR GLORY DWELL IN ME

Lord, let this body be a place for your glory to dwell,
Let my soul with your praises swell.

Let your heart be my heart is my sole desire.
Set my mouth to speak with Holy fire.

This is my cry; this is my plea.
That the glory of your Son be reflected in me.

Let me sing with joy so clear,
That the lost will hear far and near.

Let the blood shout mercy from the throne above,
Let us be the reflections of His abiding love.

Let the angels sing from the throne on high,
Forgiveness from the blood of the Son will never die.

Your presence lives within our heart, my mighty King,
You are our life, our breath, our everything.

So to you, our Savior, we praise and pray,
We are only a WORD away from a brand new day.

So our praises shall ring through eternity,
For in His amazing grace, He loved even me.

I love you all, God Bless, LINDA

ONCE UPON A TIME THERE WERE QUAIL AND HAIL

Once upon a time on a farm nearby Linda and Margaret were sitting on the back steps enjoying a spring day. The sun was shining and the birds were singing. The squirrels were playing tag in the trees and on the ground chattering and scolding. Then there was a change in the atmosphere. A sudden silence with the sun shining. And the heavens broke forth with an amazing hail storm. We ducked inside and watched the storm from the window. For about 10 minutes the hail rained down on the ground with some force. The ground was covered with hail from marble size to half dollar size. It was amazing and the sun shone on. From the brush at the back of the yard a large covey of quail streamed into the yard and stated feasting on worms. I remembered when I was first married we knew a couple who harvested river worms for bait shops. They had a machine called a tamper. When it was turned on, it beat the ground causing vibrations which made the worms to come to the surface. The pickers would then harvest the worms. I realized that God had used the hail storm as His tamper to feed the quail. It reminded me of the Bible teaching. Have no thought for today what you should eat or wear for as He clothes and feeds the fowl of the air, how much more shall your Father feed and clothe you. God had shared a visual of His teaching..... Shared it with Margaret and me once upon a time...... So many of you responded with pleasure and joy on my last Margaret story I thought I would share another.......God Bless, LINDA

MARGARET'S MIRACLE MINITURE IRIS'S

I BELIEVE THAT THE SHADOW OF LOVE LINGERS LONG AFTER DEATH! As long as you remember and tell the story several generations will reap from that love sown. Once upon a time I was a home health aid for a wonderful little LADY named Margaret. She had altimezers. She had 6 stories she told every day several times a day. A friend once told me you must have the patients of Job to listen to those same stories day after day for so many years. I laughed and told her, Margaret only has 5 minutes of joy and her stories bring her joy so I listen as if it is the first time and cheer her on. Five minutes later she had forgotten she had told the story and tell it again. We had some great times, we would go to the hairdresser and the grocery store. She was a great actress. She would meet an old friend and visit. The friend would ask her if she remembered so and so and she would say no, what happened the friend would tell the story and they would laugh at the memory. As soon as the friend was gone Margaret would ask who in the world was that? Margaret loved flowers and we would often walk her large yard and enjoy the beauty of God's creation. She had a bed of miniature Iris's. Iris are my favorite flower. I had never seen the miniatures before and she gave me a start of them. She gave many people starts and as far as I know only mine lived. I planted them in the ground but it was frustrating as the spring grass grows for it's first cutting the iris bloom and cannot be seen or the mowers don't realize they are there and mow them off so I put mine in a long old time kitchen sink as a planter on my porch. That year my 36 year old daughter passed of M.S. Margaret had been gone for awhile. When I came home that day there were 7 purple magestic blooms in the iris bed, the exact number of the people in my family, mom, dad, and 5 kids. It was as if Margaret reached down from heaven and gave me a sign that she knew my sorrow and she sent me beauty for ashes just as our Father does. The memory of the shadow of her love came down and made my heart smile in spite of my grief. On one of her lucid days she asked why am I here so long and in this shape depending on others to care for me and I said you are here to teach us how to love my dear and you do it well. Margaret still speaks to me today through those royal purple blooms. This year 7 blooms appeared on Passover Day, God's Holy Day. THE DAY THE DEATH ANGEL PASSED OVER. AGAIN BEAUTY FOR ASHES. Just rambling and remembering the shadow of love, God Bless,LINDA

INNOCENT BLOOD

Innocent blood was shed for me.
Innocent blood that set me free.
I cannot understand
How they could kill love.

Children were drawn to His smiling face.
The poor received amazing grace.
The lame could walk,
The blind could see,
The deaf could hear, life's melody.

Innocent blood shed for me.
Innocent blood that set me free,
Please help me understand,
How they could kill that man.

He was the beginning and the end,
A man who know no sin,
He was holy, faithful and true,
Sacrificed for me and you.

Innocent blood was shed for me,
Innocent blood that set me free,
Please help me understand,
Just how they could kill that man.

LET ME LOSE MY LIFE IN HIM

Let me lose my life in Him,
Let me lose my life in Him,
Jesus my Savior, my redeemer, my friend.
Let me lose my life in Him.

So you lead me beside the still waters of peace,
Love like a river to my spirit release.
Health to my bones and joy to my soul,
The love of Jesus has made me whole.

So, I lay down in green pastures never to fear,
The Good Shepherd watches and dries every tear,
Safe as a lamb in the masters fold,
The love of Jesus has made me whole.

So, I sit at the table the enemy gathered round,
But mercy and goodness are with me I've found,
His angels surround me this one thing I know,
The love of Jesus has made me whole.

Let me lose my life in I'm,
Let me lose my life in Him,
Jesus, my Savior, my redeemer, my friend,
Let me lose my life in Him.

LOVING YOU IS GOOD FOR ME

Loving you is good for me,
Sweet peace and ecstasy,
I'm flying high, completely free,
Cause Jesus, loving you is good for me.

I never wanted another plan,
Been there, done that, you understand.
But now it is plain to see,
That Jesus, loving you is good for me.

I tried to run, but to no avail,
Hung around for a little while,
And now the whole wide world can see,
Jesus, loving you is good for me.

You taught my fragile heart to smile,
Won me by a country mile,
Your kindness simply captured me,
Cause Jesus loving you is good for me.

Loving you is good for me,
Sweet peace and ecstasy,
I'm flying high, completely free,
Cause Jesus, loving you is good for me.
